This is a shameless plug for myself. However, it is for a good cause, so it’s okay. Right? Right.
Sunday, October 4th, I will be walking to raise awareness about AIDS and support to fight it, through AIDS Walk Michigan. Please donate. I’ll be walking along with my partner and our dogs, Holden and Hank. I’ll also be walking with the student GLBT group on campus, which I help advise. All proceeds go to local education and prevention programs.

That’s pretty exciting! How long is the walk? I’m (hopefully) going to do my first 5k walk at the end of October.

Oh, I wish we would could support you financially, but that is just not possible for us. BUT you have our support in spirit. Such a wonderful thing you are doing.
And I am surprised the campus still calls it GLBT and LGBT.
